Interoute Construction is a regional group of 4 companies servicing the Kootenay market, in South East British Columbia. Operating through a network of regional profit centers, it is present in the West Kootenays in Grand Forks, Trail, Castlegar, Crescent Valley, Nelson and the East Kootenay in Cranbrook, Invermere, Golden, Revelstoke and Salmon Arm. We are a vertically integrated company, controlling materials, production plants, and resources in people and equipment to integrate them into our projects.
Located west of the Canadian Rockies in southern B.C., the Kootenays is a forested region surrounded by the Purcell, Valhalla and Monashee mountain ranges. Filled with treasures, both literally and metaphorically, people have flocked to the Kootenays for over a century. Since the late 1800s, gold and minerals were the riches. Today, the area is treasured for its wild natural environment, an all-season tourist base for skiing, golfing and all the outdoor activities. This success fuels the local economies with numerous projects related to residential construction. The region also includes an important fruit growing section and numerous commercial centers, including Trail, Nelson, Cranbrook, Kimberley, Fernie, Castlegar, Rossland, Creston, Invermere and Revelstoke.
Interoute Construction has regional offices in Crescent Valley, Cranbrook, Inverme and Revelstoke and operates seven mobile and stationary hot mix asphalt production plants in Grand Forks, Genelle, Cranbrook, Revelstoke and Salmon Arm. Our local crews work closely with our clients to complete every year over 250 jobs, at their satisfaction.
Road construction is our main business, but we are also involved in civil general contracting, underground and excavation projects, materials crushing, construction of subdivisions, airports, highways. We are a key partner in municipal, commercial, and industrial projects. Interoute Construction has the skills and capabilities to manage both small and large projects, in any environment. Interoute Construction was recipient of the Ministry of Transportation Deputy Minister Award for quality in 2007 (Picture) for the successful completion of Project 21813 Toby Creek Road.
Interoute Construction is the ready-mix concrete supplier of reference in South East British Columbia. We own and operate seven ready mix plants in Trail, Castlegar, Nelson, Cranbrook, Fernie, Invermere and Revelstoke. Our large fleet of over 40 concrete mixer trucks, our integrated testing laboratories and the availability of concrete aggregates at all locations give us the ability to supply concrete on projects of any size from our stationary facilities or on-site.
We are known in our communities as good corporate citizens for our involvement in minor sports, community college, chamber of commerce, local charities.
